a. Define the following terms with examples of each.

I. Cryptogams: Non-flowering and seedless plants are called cryptogams. Examples: mucor, fern, mushroom.

ii. Phanerogams: All flowering and seed bearing plants are called phanerogams. Examples: peas, apples, mango, etc.

iii.Thallophytes- Plants whose body cannot be divided into root, stem and leaves are known as thallophytes.
